Shutdown and Restart was quite easy task in windows 7 or previous versions of windows operating system. This process completely changed in windows 8 and windows 10 OS. How to add Shutdown Button on windows 10
Right Click on Desktop
Click on New and Select Shortcut
Type the location of the item as shutdown /s /t 0
Click on Next
Type the name of the short cut as Shortcut and click on Finish
Right click on the shortcut created on desktop and go to Properties
Click on Change Icon and select the desired one
Click on Apply and Ok
How to add Restart Button on windows 10
Right Click on Desktop
Click on New and Select Shortcut
Type the location of the item as shutdown /r /t 0
Click on Next
Type the name of the shortcut as Restart and click on Finish
Right click on the shortcut created on desktop and go to Properties
Click on Change Icon and select the desired one
Click on Apply and Ok

Copy both the shortcut from your desktop and paste it to the following location:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs
