I was trying to send money from PayPal to another country but getting this error, “There’s an issue with this payment method. Contact your bank to get more details or use another form of payment.”
To get the solution, I contacted the bank and there was no problem from the bank side. I did lots of research and found the main reason why PayPal is declining the card and giving us errors such as your card has been declined. please try a different payment method.
Here is the list of reasons and solutions.
1: Internation Transaction is disabled
By default, international transactions are disabled on debit or credit cards. Make sure to enable it via net banking or authorized bank application. If your international transaction is enabled and still you are getting the error, check the next solution.
2: Low Balance
A low balance in the bank account may also be the reason for the error. Check whether your account has sufficient balance to transfer.
3: Problem with Mastercard
Earlier I was able to make payment with my debit card but for the last few weeks, getting the error. I also tried my friend’s debit card but it got rejected too. The main reason behind this is There was a problem going on with the Mastercard. Later I tried a Visa card and it worked for me.
There might be chances, sometimes a Visa card may also give you the same error, In that case, you can use other cards such as Mastercard, American Express card, etc.
